Support tickets Description I am trying to recover my bitcoin-central.net account which had a balance of about 36 bitcoins in September 2016. I only recently discovered that bitcoin-central.net have disappeared. I believe that Paymium are or were business partners of bitcoin-central.net, so I am contacting you in the hope that you can provide me with information about how to recover my account. My email address and the password I had for bitcoin-central.net has enabled me to open my account on your website, but there is no balance visible. Thanks in advance for your help. Hello Matthew, As a first verification check, would you please send me an email to contact@paymium.com using the email address registered with your account ? Thanks. Kind regards, Support Paymium — Pierre Saturday, January 14, 2017 8:33 AM Hello Support, I sent the email from my registered address mb@softbyte.co.uk about 2 weeks ago and again about a week ago but I haven't heard anything from you. — Matthew Tuesday, January 24, 2017 3:15 PM PS Could you please let me know if bitcoin-central.com is the same company as bitcoin-central.net? And the approximate date that bitcoin-central.net stopped providing access to their customers' wallets? I'm trying to work out what has happened to my wallet and would really appreciate help with at least these questions. — Matthew Tuesday, January 24, 2017 3:24 PM Hi, Our records show a zero balance on this account: would you please double check that you are contacting us with the right credentials ? In particular, did you open another account (with another email address) at the time, account that was funded ? Best regards, Paymium Support — Pierre Wednesday, January 25, 2017 11:08 AM There are 2 possible other email address that I occasionally use: designaknit@gmail.com and softbytesupport@hotmail.com I'm pretty sure that the email address that I would have used for the bitcoin wallet is mb@softbyte.co.uk. Whichever email address I used, I used it at bitcoin-central.net (not bitcoin-central.com or paymium.com). I had never opened an account at paymium.com but when I tried logging in at paymium.com with mb@softbyte.co.uk and my bitcoin-central.net password it let me in, and also showed me my phone number and bank details. I am aware that the balance on the paymium.com account is zero. Oddly, it also says that my account is not open and I can't find any transaction records. Could you please let me know what is supposed to have happened to bitcoin-central.net's customer accounts? Have they migrated to paymium.com? If so, are any transaction records available, or was it only the balances that got transferred? Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. — Matthew Wednesday, January 25, 2017 3:18 PM Hi, We do not have any accounts under those email addresses. Also your name does know any other account than BC-U48399633 which has 0 BTC and 0 EUR. Note that some Scam platform use names close to bitcoin-central to lure people. Best Regards, Paymium Team — Romain Monday, March 06, 2017 5:03 PM Thanks for your information. Can you please tell me if bitcoin-central.net and bitcoin-central.com are connected? The unique password I had for bitcoin-central.net has enabled me to open my account BC-U48399633 on the paymium website, so I assume there must be some connection between paymium and bitcoin-central.net. — Matthew Monday, March 06, 2017 10:47 PM Hello, bitcoin-central.com was never under our control. Best regards, Paymium Support — Romain Thursday, March 23, 2017 1:57 PM Thank you for supplying that information in only a little over 2 months. I'm glad I didn't ask a question that would have been difficult to answer :-) — Matthew Thursday, March 23, 2017 4:47 PM What I really wanted to know was about bitcoin-central.net, not bitcoin-central.com. Given that my bitcoin-central.net password allows me to login to paymium, com (that's how I logged in today), and showed me my bank details, then obviously there is a connection between bitcoin-central.net and paymium, com. I have a bitcoin wallet with bitcoin-central.net and would like to be able to access it. Please advise the best way forward. — Matthew Saturday, June 03, 2017 2:49 PM dear Mr Bragg, You are indeed accessing your old bitcoin-central.net today through paymium.com There was a zero balance on your account when the switch to paymium.com was completed in 2014 so we don't quite understand your claim for 36 BTC.
